I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan. This Fall, I will be a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Notre Dame.
I work in ethics, moral psychology, and meta-ethics, though my work bears on issues in social-political philosophy and epistemology too. My research also engages questions about explanation, time, and modality in ethics, putting it in conversation with metaphysics and the philosophies of action and history. I have interests in the history of philosophy, especially in Arabic/Islamic thought.
My advisors are Elizabeth Anderson, Sarah Buss, Peter Railton, and Brian Weatherson. Webb Keane, an anthropologist of ethics, is my cognate member.
